Printhead xp – 600

Epson XP600, released around 2018, is a 6-channel printhead derived from the Epson F1080. Originally designed for water-based inks, it has become popular for use with eco-solvent, UV, and thermal transfer inks. The XP600 printhead has a lifespan of approximately 3–6 months, with some lasting up to 1.5 years. Although the color saturation is lower compared to DX5 and i3200 printheads, its affordability and moderate stability make it widely accepted in the market. It is commonly used in small eco-solvent inkjet printers, roll-to-roll UV printers with widths of 1.6–1.8 meters, and flatbed UV printers of sizes 6040 or 9060 due to its cost efficiency and excellent printing performance.
