The printer is compact, comparable in size to desktop printers. Its refillable ink system and the use of film directly from a roll significantly reduce the cost per print. The maximum print width is 34 cm, which in most cases is sufficient to meet the demands of custom production typical for DTF technology.

Primarily designed for DTF printing

While most devices in this category were originally developed for other purposes (usually for paper) and later modified for DTF use, users often encounter various issues—most commonly related to ink (such as nozzle clogging). With this printer, you don’t have to worry about such problems. It was developed to fill a market gap—a small DTF device capable of occasional higher-volume production, designed from the ground up for pigment inks and optimized for printing from the very beginning.

DTF printing method

DTF (Direct-to-Film) is a transfer printing method. The printer prints a mirrored image onto a special transparent transfer film. The ink is then either automatically or manually dusted with adhesive powder and dried. The film is subsequently cut to the desired size and heat-pressed onto garments using an appropriately sized transfer press.

The print adheres to virtually any textile material using powder-based polyurethane adhesive, making it suitable even for textured fabrics. This method also provides higher wash resistance for the printed designs.
